• Assistant Store Manager - Centria Mall Riyadh

Through your passion for the brand and role you will lead the store team in providing an iconic customer experience, maximising every sale in order to ensure that the store maximises its profitability. You will ensure that the store team demonstrate excellent product knowledge, ensuring that customers receive the highest standards of a personalised customer experience. As a member of the senior management team you will be responsible for the efficient running of the store both front and back of house.


Key Responsibilities


SALES


• Make the most effective use of space and stock available to the store by maximising sales and minimising wastage of resources;
• Ensure that the merchandise is displayed effectively using promotional material to reflect current demand;
• Be fully aware of the Burberry Experience programme and to make sure the team follows the programme at all times.

MERCHANDISE

• Maintain the correct basic stock levels within the store;
• Work closely with the Store Manager and the Buying team to provide effective feedback, ensuring that popular selling lines are replenished on time.

SECURITY

• Ensure that the position of stock, in the store is designed to minimise theft by customers or staff and that the Company procedures on security in relation to theft are adhered to;
• To report all suspected shoplifters to the Loss Prevention / Management team.

STAFF DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATION

• Provide effective democratic leadership and control for the staff;
• Ensure that staff are providing an excellent level of customer service and meeting the general needs of the store and its customers;
• Supervise on the job training for new staff.

PROFIT MARGIN

• Manage and achieve operating cost targets in line with the profit and loss;
• Protect the assets and profits of the store;
• Initiate and drive a theft and loss strategy.

COMMERCIAL AND OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

• Exploit all operational and administrative systems to maximise commercial benefits;
• Implement and maintain effective administration.


The ideal candidate will have:
• Customer service skills;
• Retail management experience – preferably for a luxury retailer;
• Desirable - Fluent spoken knowledge of another language;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Team player;
• Proactive;
• Flexible;
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Computer literate;
• Numerate.
