Summary:
The main aim of the training is to provide a comprehensive and contemporary knowledge on the topic of leadership in adult education and training with emphasis on the methodologies on how to be a good leader.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Project managers, Youth Policy Makers.
For participants from: Youth in Action Programme Countries.
Group size: 25 participants

If you are interested in

• acquiring basic skills and knowledge on how to be a successful leader;
• developing leadership skills and activities;
• learning techniques and methods on how to lead a group;
• gaining an understanding on the different types of a good leader;
• acquiring skills on how to manage a group and a project as well;
• learning different evaluation methods-feedback models;
• understanding the stages of group dynamics;
• learning how to facilitate a group-facilitation;
• acquiring skills on handling different target groups, individuals, teams in different situations;
• learning how to handle a conflict situation;
• learning how to implement innovative ideas and methods into your institution;
• exchanging ideas and opinion on the intercultural dimension of leadership;
• cooperating and learning in multinational and intercultural context.
Basic Steps for participating in the project
1. Send us an email that you would like to participate in the course;
2. We will send you via e-mail the message confirming your pre-registration. Print and keep it because you will need to enclose it to your application for a Grundtvig grant to the National Agency;
3. Contact your National Agency and ask about action “Grundtvig in service training for adult education staff”, deadline for application for a grant and all required documents;
4. Fill in the application form (you will find it on the website of your National Agency) and enclose confirmation of pre-registration and any other documents required by your National Agency;
5. If you successfully get a Grundtvig grant, you should contact us as soon as possible so as to confirm your participation in course;
6. After that, we will formally register you as a participant of the course and send you all necessary logistic information.
Costs:
Apply for a grant in your National Agency.
