Project description
Work: The work to be done during this exchange-camp is connected with very fundamental reconstruction work in the old building. It will be organized in 3 groups:
1. preparing the material (clay mixture) and rebuilding an old tile stove;
2. restoration of the ceiling beams, isolation and painting of the ceiling with eco-materials. Group will be lead by professional restorers;
3. installation of the sewerage tubes in the house.

ITALY, SICILY

Project description
Work: Participants will carry on environmental activities which may take place also inside confiscated goods from mafia. There will be also some moments when participants will do manual activities connected with the main theme of the YE ( e.g. creative recycling, beach waste collection, restoration activities, gardening, etc)Working material will be provided.
Study Part: there may be activities related environmental education, recycling and education to legality linked with environment.
Food and Accommodation: volunteers will be lodged in a school equipped with inflable matrasses. They will cook their meals together organized in turns also for cleanings.
Language: English but knowledge of Italian is welcome
Venue: Trapani province, Sicily
