• To be responsible for all project documentation up until its conclusion and its delivery to the Head of Mission, obtaining a detailed confirmation receipt of the delivery.

REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Social Studies (politic science, sociology, psychology, anthropology) or similar. Master degree in Emergency is an advantage;
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience with an International Organizations in humanitarian programmes in Child Protection or related protection issues;
• Peer educators (scouting) are strongly encouraged to apply;
• French fluency required; English/Italian is an asset;
• Capacity to write project, reporting and proven knowledge of UN procedure and guidelines;
• Strong motivation and flexibility, ability to work in remote and complex environment in humanitarian contexts;
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, set priorities, effectively manage time, and meet deadlines;
• Strong analytical, training, oral and written communication, and team-building skills;
• Good diplomatic and networking skills: the ability to effectively manage a variety of internal and external relationships, including relationships with donors;
• Experienced in base management is preferable.

JOB TITLE: Stage in Finance Office
DURATION OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
3/6 months
STARTING DATE: November 2013

ROLE, TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Stageur will be responsible for ensuring timely and appropriate support to the Finance Director and the Finance Officer, in the accomplishment of the regular tasks related to coordination, planning, implementation and development of procedures / activities in the finance and administration office. Specifically the intern will:
• Support the Finance Office in the regular reporting and implementation of the administrative and finance activities;
• Support the Finance Officer and Director in producing/control interim and final reports to the donors;
• Support the Finance Officer and Director in the daily administrative tasks associated with the finance management of the missions;
• Make regular reports regarding the work in progress.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Educational background in finance and administration;
• Fluent spoken and written English and/or French is mandatory;
• Comfortable with computer use and with excel;
• Enthusiasm for approaching the Administrative and Finance Office of an NGO;
• Motivation to work abroad, in INTERSOS missions;
• Strong commitment and sense of the Mission of working for an Humanitarian Organization and capacity of working in nice atmosphere;
• Problem solving, organizational, team working capabilities;
• Self-motivated and prepared to put him/her self on the line.

JOB TITLE: Livelihood Expert
DUTY STATION:
Middle East
STARTING DATE: ASAP

ROLE, TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Livelihoods Expert will design, implement and monitor livelihoods projects of benefit to survivors and communities at risk. Specifically he/she will:
• Be a driving force in developing the livelihoods programmes within the programmatic objectives and in line with livelihood programme strategies;
• Provide technical leadership and support to livelihoods and agricultural projects;
• Develop a detailed livelihood work plan, coordinate implementation of livelihoods activities of the project;
• Work closely with the Programme Manager and the Head of Mission on proposal development;
• Design and oversee context assessments related to Livelihood, based on priorities identified with field teams and senior management;
• Draft a Livelihood and Food Security strategy exploring all options and outlining preconditions required for implementation;
• Develop and ensure timely and smooth monitoring of program progress and impact and make program adjustments accordingly;
• Review and strengthen the livelihoods strategy for the program;
• Build the capacity of national livelihood project staff through structured training and mentorship to implement quality and sustainable livelihood activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Agriculture and/or advanced Degree in Education & Development related field preferable;
• At least 3 year of experience with NGO in Livelihood in humanitarian contexts implementing activities funded by UN donors or ECHO, including at least one year in emergency settings, preferably in refugees / IDPs camps contexts;
• Proven experience in coordination positions is an asset;
