Summary:
The planned training course is based on the experiences of “YOUTH@WORK” TCs that took place in 2012-2013 in Turkey and proved to be successful in terms of the educational process & future actions on youth employability using the resources of youth work.
Target group: Youth workers, Youth leaders, Project managers, Young People.
For participants from: Youth in Action Programme Countries.
Group size: 30 participants

The planned training course is based on the experiences of previous editions of “YOUTH@WORK” trainings that took place during 2012-2013 in Turkey. These courses proved to be successful both in terms of the very intense and enriching educational process as well as the ideas developed for future actions on youth employability, using the resources of youth work and its programmes. The current training course is the first edition in the frame of the new Erasmus+ programme.
Aim and Objectives:
To raise the potential of youth work to improve the opportunites of young people in professional life.
Objectives
• Understanding the role of youth work in giving youth better opportunities on labor market /in their professional life;
• Exploring potential and limitations of youth work towards young people opportunities in professional life;
• Sharing experiences / realities and learning from these experiences;
• Operationalising how to improve young people’s opportunities in their professional life.
Costs:
This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses. (Note for NAs: This project is financed by TCP 2013).
