Many non-profit organizations explore possibilities of online ways of learning in addition to residential parts of their projects. In this challenging and time demanding process, many of them end up focusing on the tools itself rather than learning process and methodology which can easily result in creating an ineffective learning environment. Therefore the main goal of the seminar is to go beyond technical aspects and explore concepts of learning which tries to combine online ways of learning and residential part of educational activities into a holistic learning experience. We will invite different target groups and explore all types of learning from different perspectives. Group of participants will consist of those having experience with online courses as participants as well as trainers using online platforms as a learning tool. The general goal is to trigger an open discussion inviting people with various backgrounds – young people active within non-profit sector, experts from formal education institutions as well as those who experiment with online learning in non-profit sector, non-formal education and other fields. All parties involved should gain a better understanding of learning approaches within non-formal education in the non-profit sector environment.
