General Overview:
WDNG and YuE wants to empower 24 participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Poland, Latvia and France so that, Young people:
1) increase self-confidence and self-realization;
2)Develop professional skills in Business (Entrepreneurship); Journalism and International Relations.
3) Deeper such values as tolerance, gender equality, solidarity and democracy.
The project includes 6 day seminar in Tbilisi, Georgia in spring 2014. The proposed activities (Seminar, workshops, round-tables, discussion, etc) will mobilize expertise of WDNG and YuE on following topics:
Journalism, Effective Management (Entrepreneurship) and International Relations. Participants will be able to apply gained knowledge and skills in further career development.
Three Working groups will focus on professional skill development in Journalism, business (Entrepreneurship) and International Relations. Trainer will assist participants to design own career development plan and discuss methods to transfer gained knowledge to youth in respective countries. First working group will get master classes from bloggers and journalists. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance knowledge in writing articles, etc. Second working group will explore benefits of being employee, they will consecrate on effective management and fund-raising skills. Third Group will have useful seminars related to the ideologies, etc. Youth will have the opportunity to act as a diplomats in the provided simulation game.
Follow-up activity:
Within the concept of the program, each participant has the role of multiplication. Partner organizations will organize follow up activities like “Employment Action Days” back home, in order to pass gained knowledge and skills to youth from their communities.
Costs:
100% of lodging and 70% of Travel cost will be reimbursed!
EU citizens won't need a visa to enter Georgia.
