Summary:
"Art In (E)Motion: Train Your A.I.M." training course will take place from 13 to 19/5/2014 in Cantalupo in Sabina, Italy. The themes of the project are European Awareness and Art&Culture. The main methodological focus will be on non-verbal communication.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, artists/performers.
For participants from: Hungary, Lithuania, Romania, Spain.
Group size: 24 participants
Details:
24 youth workers + 4 team-members (trainers, facilitator and support-person) with a wide range of experiences as non-formal educators, will gather in order to empower their competences in social work, learn innovative methodologies that integrate art techniques into non-formal education, and gain a deeper consciousness of the meaning of being European citizens out of the comparison with each other's experiences.
The programme will be divided in three parts:
1. First contact, team-building and needs analysis, where the participants will: learn how to cooperate as a group, and define a common learning path, out of personal, professional and organizational needs;
2. Competences development process, where the participants will: experience, debrief and acquire new non-verbal communication tools, by working on group dynamics through body awareness, dance and theatre, and create workshops to be implemented back home with their fewer opportunities youngsters;
3. Evaluation and follow-up, where the participants will: evaluate their learning experience, and define how to use the competencies acquired for their future personal, professional and organizational outcomes.
Costs:
We will cover 100% of hosting costs (food+accommodation) and 70% of travel costs. No participation fee.
