Summary:
The project aims to empower the participants to implement employability projects at local level by using social media tools. They will learn more about social media tools, get good practices and new connections at European level.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Project managers, Youth Policy Makers, EVS mentors/tutors.
For participants from: France, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands.
Group size: 40 (7 for this call) participants

Project objectives:
1.
Enabling participants to use social media tools for the communication, promotion and management of their projects aiming to raise employment of young people;
2. Stimulating participants to share their personal and professional practices in using social media in youth work through teamwork and networking;
3. Raising the employability of the participants through improving social media skills and through personal branding;
4. Promoting the European cooperation in the youth field by the use of social media;
Target group
• Must be youth workers, project coordinators and/or volunteers;
• Must have basic digital skills (using internet and computer applications);
• Need to be interested in social media for improving their current or future employability projects (initiative to raise the employability of young people).
You need to be aware that national partners reserve their right to nominate directly their representatives. In this case your application will be put in the waiting list. This is why the selection calendar is only an estimation.
Costs:
GEYC will cover the following costs with the support of the European Commission:
• 100% of meals, accommodation, activities costs;
• 70% of transport costs (as a reimbursement after all justifying documents are provided, in order to confirm the participation on this project, selected participants will be required to advance 100% of the travel costs).
Participants should cover (if needed):
• medical insurance;
• any other personal costs;
GEYC does not charge any participation fee for this training course!
