Details:
Youth Culture and Youth art as expression of freedom is very important topic to be developped within the EuroMed field. Youth is more and more present in the social and political scene bringing new formo expression. More and more music, grafiti, murales, and so on became a way of expression, of communication with the outside world. Taking in account the political and social changes in the EuroMed area and the role that youth is keeping… that’s make this topic very important to explore and, also, to develop educational tools for International youth workers and youth leaders.
Aims and objectives:
• To gather together youth workers and leaders working or motivated to work on youth art and culture in Euro-Med region.
• To explore and define Youth Culture and what it means to youth leaders and Euro-Med youth.
• To gather best practices, learn from them and inspire with them.
• To create new high quality projects and opportunities for Euro-Med youth.
• To develop a web resource as educational tool on how to use youth art in International projects as an expression of freedom.
Target group:
• Trainers active in EuroMed.
• 50% youth workers/leaders with an experience of working with Youth Culture.
• 50% youth workers/leaders with a plan to actively develop a project with Youth Culture.
Competencies:
1. Knowledge and experience in the field of youth work.
2. High motivation in sharing experiences and opinions and in participating actively and concretely to the seminar.
3. Curiosity and interest in deepening in the subject in the different countries while getting the most of local realities.
4. Will to set new inter- sartorial cooperation focusing on the importance of youth culture as expression of freedom.
5. Digital competencies are highly appreciated, especially in social media.
6. Experience using arts (Photography, writing, painting, graffiti ....).
Costs:
This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs or SALTO involved in this project. If you come from a country other than Programme Countries, please contact the host NA for further information about the financial details.
