La ONG umanitaria Intersos ha aperto una selezione per identificare due risorse umane. Un Finace officer da inserire in diverse operatività all’estero e un Responsabile di progetto sulla Sicurezza Alimentare in Tchad. Scadenza candidature: 23 giugno 2014.
FINANCE OFFICER
• starting date: Availability to enter on duty with a short notice period (max. two weeks)
• duty station: Intersos field missions
• duration: At least one year
ROLE, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Finance Officer is responsible for the administration and financial management of the country and its projects. He/she ensures the correct and effective management of financial resources, in accordance with the organization procedures and Administrative Director guidelines. Specifically he/she is responsible to: Correct accounting and administration of funds. Ensure the proper execution of goods, work and services procurement processes and conformity to Intersos and donor procedures Support the Head of Mission in the elaboration of new projects mission administration and accounting documents and all finished projects documentation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 year experience as administrator for an NGO. Educational background in finance and administration. Good knowledge of the administrative procedure of international donors – mainly UN and ECHO Systems – and Italian cooperation. Good knowledge of spoken and written English and/or French is necessary. Knowledge of Italian language will be considered a plus. comfortable with computer use and with the main software for administration system. problem solving and organizational capabilities. Availability to move often through the Area of competence.

PROJECT MANAGER FOOD SECURITY
• starting date: Availability to enter on duty with a short notice period (maximum two weeks)
• duty station: Intersos field missions
• duration: From six months to one year
ROLE, TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project manager represent INTERSOS with Project stakeholders and donors, in agreement and on the basis of the Head of Mission’s ndications. S/he is responsible for the implementation of all the activities and the economic and financial management of the project, with a specific focus on food security issues. Specifically he/she is responsible to: Maintain the relationship with the donors and the local authorities/stakeholders; Participate to the main meeting concerning the project of his/her responsibility; Follow up the possibility for new project proposal and write it; Management of the project assigned to him/her and of all implementation phases, on the basis of the orientation and supervision of the Head of Mission; Ensure monitoring missions and information gathering tools on the basis agreed with the donors and partners, and ensures the quality of data collected; S/he works with the Country Director in the administrative and project budget under the procedures provided by the donor
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree in (tropical and subtropical) agriculture; Proven experience in agro-environmental sector in multicultural context; Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of EC and UN projects; At least 3 year of experience in post emergency and livelihood/food security programs; At least 2 year experience in EC project management; Experience and skills in carry out food security livelihood assessment; Ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to work under pressure; Ability to effectively manage a variety of internal and external relationships, including relationships with donors; Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent analysis and writing skills; Good knowledge of spoken and written French and English is required. Italian will be considered a plus; Computer literate.
