Details:
A 6-days non-formal experiential training course for youth workers and youth leaders who want to use nature as a tool for supporting young people in the development of the sense for initiative and entrepreneurship. The training uses nature as a tool for personal development and shows nature rituals at work for empowering society in general and young people in particular. Through nature rituals, introspective, spiritual and empowering practices, participants will explore their limiting beliefs and how to overcome them if needed. They will be supported to learn more about and develop their personal potential. While sharing, reflection and facilitating, participants will furthermore learn how to use their skills for youth work back in their professional life and how to empower others.
Methodology
This training course is organized within the context of Non-Formal Education (NFE) and using methods of :
• Nature and wilderness pedagogics
• Client-centred counselling
• Discussion and sharing
• Individual reflection
• Physical outdoor activities such as hiking
• Sleeping outside
• Individual reflection
• Non-formal education
Costs:
Travel costs up to 330 EUR will by reimbursed by 100%, visa costs will be reimbursed by 100%. Participation fee: 70 EUR. Accommodation and food as well as program costs are covered by the training course.
