Description:
The training called “Women Got the Power” aims to give youth leaders tools that enable them to promote entrepreneurship among women, a group for whom is not natural to become entrepreneurs. The youth leaders will be given tools and methods to successfully inspire and strengthen young women to make a change and persuade them to take an active role in their lives through social entrepreneurship. This is also assisted by sessions about Communication and Presentation Techniques that empower youth leaders to reach and communicate more efficiently with their target groups. There are sessions about Project Management and Project Design within the framework of Erasmus+ that strengthen the participating organizations to plan and implement successful projects that help spread the entrepreneurial spirit among women. This is a 10 day-long training that takes place in Republic of Moldova between 20th and 29th September, 2014. It gathers 24 participants from the following countries: Norway, Republic of Moldova, Portugal, Spain, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Objectives:
Through this project, the partners unites their efforts tin order to achieve a common goal:
• To fight back youth unemployment and strengthen social inclusion of young people by tackling youth unemployment;
• To strengthen capacity of the partner organizations to promote social entrepreneurship among those young people for whom it is not natural to become entrepreneurs;
• To enhance capacity of partner organizations to respond to challenges in the society through innovation and social entrepreneurship;
• To enhance capacity of partner organizations to develop in young people a sense of leadership;
• To strengthen the organizational management of the partners involved in order to ensure the sustainability of their work;
• To foster the cooperation between youth organizations and social enterprises in order to promote social entrepreneurship among young people and address their needs;
• To strengthen the network between youth organizations in Programme countries and partner countries under the Erasmus+.
Costs:
Each participant has a travel budget depending upon which country they travel from. The travel costs will be reimbursed following the training. The Travel budgets are as follows:
• Azerbaijan, Armenia 275€
• Norway, Spain 360€
• Moldova 180€
• Portugal 530€
If your travel costs exceed the budget, you must contribute the difference. All accommodation and three meals a day will be provided. There is no participation fee.
