The Training-Seminar “One day of differences" is a 9 days project that will takes place in Moldova between 4th to 13th of October. It will gather 30 youth workers working with children that suffer of social exclusion, to discover and explore the tool of videography for promotion of their activities, disseminate the results in a more professional and attractive way and as a result, to engage more active young people in their work and bring attention of a wider public to the social issue of children exclusion of their local community and country. The project will bring together people from different countries, from EU and EECA: Latvia, Poland, Italy, Spain, France, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus and Armenia.
Objectives
• To create a platform of sharing and discussions about the problem of children abuse and exclusion from the society;
• To create a practical tool in form of a guide which will help youth workers to promote the social inclusion of children using creative video methods;
• To teach the young people basic tools in videography and to realize several video materials about the problem of social exclusion of children with problems;
• To share and create professional social campaigns strategies about the promotion of inclusion of children from orphanages and to realize a public event where the issue will be promoted among citizens of Moldova;
• To realize several video materials about social exclusion of children which will be diffused on different media channels by the participants of the seminar in their local communities and also during a public event in Chisinau, Moldova.
Costs:
There is no participation fee. Accommodation, living and other project / exchange related expenses: 100% funded by the EU. This includes everything except for travel costs. Travel (flights, other means of transport) expenses are compensated (up to 100%), based on the distance from your location of residence to the location of the project.
