Summary: There are challenges recently in front of world peace, so our efforts’ will be to support more peaceful society and world.
Target group: Youth workers, Youth leaders, Project managers, Youth Policy Makers, EVS mentors/tutors.
For participants from: Croatia, Estonia, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Spain.
Group size: 30 participants
Details:
The Project will promote the concept of active participation, citizenship and social inclusion within young people, will preserve the core values of democracy, human rights, social justice and peace within youth, and will raise the awareness of the public opinion towards the importance of non-formal education for an active social position. The project also will address the challenges of human rights abuse and its impact on young people in developing societies and elaborate common modules of responding to it, lastly will encourage the active participation of young people in the decision making process, stimulating an active social position. With the outcomes of the project will be more aware of human rights, democracy, social inclusion, solidarity and so. It’ll have positive impact on local community and society. During the exchange firstly there will be a simulation for an authoritarian government, then there will be a simulation for parliament and democracy. The process will be the same in the democratic life. Another important activity of the project is filming a short-movie called "Democracy and Dictator" with our participants.
The objectives of this project are for participants:
1. To improve the communication between young people of different origins and backgrounds.
2. To encourage young people to be involved, to participate in the life of their community.
3. To empower young people to find their individual strength and qualities and support them in becoming agents of change.
4. To establish a democratic approach between the participating countries.
5. To understand the importance of the crossing borders cooperation in the enlarged European context.
Working methods:
Interaction methods, task-orientated methods, cooperation methods, game-methods, reviewing methods.
Profile participants/Target Group:
• Active and creative members of organizations and youth creative collectives, local youth art councils and centers willing to develop further activities and act as multipliers within their organizations.
• Be motivated to develop their knowledge and competence the specific field and to share their experiences with other participants.
• Have some experience in developing youth activities in local/national level and be well informed about the activities they were involved and be prepared to present and explain their function to other participants.
• Commit themselves to their function for future activities in the field of youth policy and be prepared to pass on the others the knowledge and skills gained during this activity.
• Students and researchers.
• Youth in age from 18 till 30 y.o., youth workers without limits.
Costs:
We will cover accommodation and travel tickets according to rules of Erasmus+ Programme. There is no participation fee. Travel allowances for countries:
• Italy: 170 euro per person.
• Estonia: 270 euro per person.
• Croatia: 170 euro per person.
• Lithuania: 270 euro per person.
• Poland: 270 euro per person.
• Spain: 400 euro per person.
Working language: English.
