Summary: Connect to animate is a training course about non-formal educational methods, with a special focus on socio-educative animation. The purpose is to help youth workers to better motivate their volunteers to get more involved in the life of the community.

For participants from: Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Turkey.
Group size: 24 participants

The project’s activities will take shape around the days of the international event Connector. The project is divided into two main parts: training sessions focusing on motivation, types of learning, group development, young people involvement, as well as understanding the methods of socio-educative animation- prepared by partners and trainers and second part: participating in sessions about non-formal educational methods during the Connector event.
Our project Objectives are focusing on participant’s development:
• improved knowledge about: types of motivation, styles of learning, the stages of forming a group, characteristics of formal, non-formal and informal education.
• improved abilities: how to recruit volunteers, form a team, motivate volunteers and propose new activities, especially through the use of socio-educative methods and other non-formal methods used in Connector.
• understanding volunteers, inclusion and equal chances, through the use of socio-educative animation, encourage groups to join full heartedly in actions of solving problems in their own community.
The impact on the community of Cluj will be reached through the implication of people in dissemination activities in Connecter as well as involvement in the Treasure-Hunt created by the participants for foreigners participating in the event and for local people. These methods will be professionally recorded and distributed online together with other 6 videos which represent the implementation of the method in the communities the participants are a part of.
Costs:
This project is financed by the Erasmus+ Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered.

Transport: 100% covered by the Erasmus + program, within this limits:
• Bulgaria: 180 Euros/participant
• Romania: 180 Euros/participant
• Lithuania: 275 Euros/participant
• Italy: 275 Euros/participant
• Greece: 275 Euros/participant
• Turkey: 275 Euros/participant
* participants will have to buy their own tickets and we will reimburse the money at the end of the project.
Eligible means of transport: bus, train, personal car, plane.
Working language: English.
