Call for trainers: "Sustainable Rural E+imPact" - Culture Goes Europe (CGE), Soziokulturelle Initiative Erfurt e.V.

“Sustainable Rural E+imPact” is designed with aim to establish a network of organizations which can share experience and establish strong network which will focus on work with young people in rural areas and create a long term impact in rural comunities. “Sustainable Rural E+imPact” is Erasmus+ KA1 project that will be realized in three stages starting with:

1. Contact Making Event, that will take place in Weimar, Germany from 5 - 11 December 2014 (30 participants)

Objectives:

• To build new partnerships between Programme and Neighbouring Partner Countries;
• To exchange good organizational practices;
• To learn for sustainable entrepreneurship and recognize the benefits from it in rural areas;
• To develop future cooperative projects and exchanges involving not only participants but also their beneficiaries.

2. Training Course, that will take place in Kratovo, Macedonia from 16-24 (dates subject to change) February 2015 (30 Participants)

Objectives:

• To increase the capacity of the organizations for fighting unemployment, social exclusion and poverty in rural areas;
• To gain deep knowledge for sustainability and be able to create activities for steering creativity and innovation, fostering entrepreneurship competences among young people in rural areas;
• To recognize the benefits of non-formal education and to provide mobility opportunities for young people in rural areas;
• To be able to develop and lead high quality local and international activities for young people;
• To learn for the process of starting new business and be able to empower and support young people in rural areas making their first steps in sustainable entrepreneurship.

3. Evaluation Meting, that will take place in Sajan, Serbia from 5 – 8 September 2015

Objectives:

• To evaluate the effect of Actiity.1 and Activity.2;
• To evaluate projects developed by our partner organizations in the frame of Activity 1 and Activit 2 that had been approved/realized and projects that were not approved/implemented until the implementation of Activity 3.


Countires Involved:
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia, France, Romania, Turkey or Macedonia.


Profile of Participants

Contact Making Event in Weimar is designed for youth workers, NGO founders, municipality representatives, persons representing group of citizen’s in rural areas, staff from NGOs and social enterprises. The profile of the involved participants in the first project is for individuals who want to create and influence policy for rural areas.

On the first meeting the participants is expected to learn for the importance of sustainable entrepreneurship and how they can use it to empower young people and increase the welfare in their communities. Expected outcomes are to gain knowledge for the Erasmus+ program, become part of international network and develop future projects within the Erasmus+ program regarding the needs of their local community.

The Training Course in Kratovo is designed for youth workers, youth leaders, municipality staff, young people from rural areas, staff from NGOs, social enterprises, volunteers, teachers, trainers and educators. This project is designed with aim to build capacity of the organizations for work with young people in rural areas, by increasing the competences of their staff.

The Evaluation Meeting in Sajan is designed for the organizations to send two representatives who had been on the first two projects in order to analyse in depths the outcome of this project cycle. This final meeting is to evaluate, follow up and validate this project cycle with the aim of extracting specific lessons learnt. It’s expected from the partners to send participants form the first two projects.


Requested trainer profile

Selection Criteria

• Knowledge for SEE Rural Areas;
• Experience in Entrepreneurship in Rural Areas;
• Sustainability;
• Experience in Non-formal Education;
• Fluent English;
• Erasmus+;
• Ability to meet the objectives of the first two meetings.

The trainers should have residence in one of the following countries:
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia, France, Romania, Turkey or Macedonia.
