Summary: Exchange experiences between youth workers and young people how to find gender balance in terms of participation in local or international youth projects, spaces, organisations and activities.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Project managers.
For participants from: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Italy, Macedonia, Former Yugoslav Republic of, Poland, Romania, United Kingdom.
Group size: 30 participants
Details: Project consists of training dedicated to youth workers and youth leaders to inform and raise an awareness about gender equality and project management and also it aims to create a knowledge how to create a gender balance in the youth projects. Traning course will include workshops about gender equality, women rights and LBGT rights and also training course will include the workshops about project management and project development to create a partnership between the participants. During the 8 days of training, participants will be involved in exercises, group work, creative workshops, roleplay, simulations and other non- formal activities and also participants will have an opportunity to Turkish Culture during historical and cultural day.
The aims of the project are:
• Exchanging good practices about the gender equality on youth projects;
• Increasing the visibility of the disadvantaged people within the focus of Gender balance;
• Equip Youthworkers for the Gender Mainstreaming topic and leading the activities which has focus on gender mainstreaming.
Costs:
The accomodation and food will be covered.
Reimbursement of Travel Costs
Participants needs to send their travel arrangements and inform us before arranging their travels. They will get the reimbursement to general rules of Erasmus+ Programme during the training and up to a max. amount listed more detalied in attached info pack.
