Summary: Partnership Building Seminar on share methods on discover traditions through arts and sports in order to motivate unemployed young people to use their talent to become entrepreneurs.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Project managers
For participants from: Croatia, France, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey
Group size: 27 participants
Details: Themes of the Partnership Building Seminar:
• Develop and improve the competence of Sense of creativity and entrepreneurship of young people through arts and sports;
• Share and explore methods of non - formal education through arts and sports in order to recognise cultural values and traditions;
• Motivate unemployed young people to discover their talents and cultures through different arts and sports activities;
• Provide opportunity to find strengths, creativity, culture, traditions and combine all of them in an entrepreneurship in the sake of young people and local community;
• Find partners with similar needs and interests and target group in order to explore talents and traditions together locally and disseminate in European level through KA1 and KA2 projects according to the proposals of Erasmus + programme.
The overall aim of the Partnership building seminar is to train youth workers, youth leaders to be able to prepare, run and evaluate such type of non – formal educational methods which support young people to explore their talents meanwhile discover their own cultures. Practicing education through arts and sports in order to find strengths and creativity in traditions, which were forgotten and revise them, make it modern and popular among local community and European level. To support young people to recognise their roots and find their talents there and using their talents, to foster their sense of initiative and entrepreneurship. To make traditions through talents of young people well – known in Europe e.g. running youth projects according to the proposals of KA1 and KA2 according to the proposals of Erasmus + programme.
Learning objectives of the partnership building seminar are:
• To get acquainted with priorities of Health and Well Being and Culture and Creativity of the European Youth Strategy “Investing and empowering young people”;
• To explore key competences with special focus on sense of initiative and entrepreneurship;
• To practice non – formal educational methods as education through sports in order to discover traditional sports and games;
• To practice non – formal educational methods as education through arts in order to discover music, dance, paintings, architecture.
• To invent self – assessment tools in order to support young people to recognise their talents during non – formal educational methods and identify their learning outcomes;
• To make a link between learning outcomes and entrepreneurship;
• To make proposals for local and European youth projects in order to use the talent and traditions of young people together in the sake of local communities;
• To make solid partnerships for KA1 and KA 2 youth projects according to the proposals of Erasmus + programme.
The methodological flow of the seminar:
1. To get familiar with theories and strategies of European Commission: Health and Well - Being and Culture and Creativity of the European Youth Strategy “Investing and empowering young people” and key competences with special focus on sense of initiative and entrepreneurship from Youthpass learning process;
2. Share methods for education through sports: participants collect traditional sports and games from their local communities and send a description of it to everyone. They will present it and practice during the seminar. Then till the end of the seminar, they will make a traditional sports and games booklet in the language of all participants of the seminar. After each presentation, there will be a discussion what young people can learn from the certain traditional sport or game.
3. Share methods for education through arts. Participants will bring music, dance, photos of paintings and architecture they believe that represent their culture the most. They will present it through different tools and techniques to the others. Make a DVD about it!
