Summary:
Unlocking yOUr Potential is a 7 days training course for youth workers about empowerment of young people using self-exploration as a tool.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders.
For participants from: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic, Turkey.Group size: 30 participants
Details:
This training is aimed at youth workers, youth leaders and volunteers working in a non-formal learning settings, with young people that are experiencing social exclusion. We will support our participants to explore their own Identity and by doing so, they will gain a greater appreciation of their full potential.
Unlocking yOur Potential is an unique opportunity for you:
• To become more aware of yourself and be enabled to make conscious choices and decisions that fit with your goals in life.
• To look at how you as individual can rely on your own resources.
• To look how you can rely on powerless, inconvenient feelings and deal constructively with them.
• To understand how your behaviour is influenced by our perception of ourselves, and by how others see us.
• To provide you with some tools to support young people through a similar process.
The main aim of this TC is to enable participants to support the young people they work within their identity process and to plan their personal pathway in life. We will do this by bringing participants themselves on a journey of self-discovery. We invite participants who are open to experiencing this personal journey and who are in a position to apply their learning to their work with young people after the training course. This non-formal education training course will be characterized by highly participatory, interactive and experiential methods. The working methods will include case studies, working in pairs and small groups, team building activities, discussions. The participants will share experiences and knowledge with each other. This process with a self-directed learning approach will be facilitated by the trainers.

Participation fee:
For this training course we ask a participation fee of 50,00 euro. We will take this from the reimbursement.
Reimbursement
Travels costs will be counted by distance calculator provided by European Commission and reimbursed by bank transfer after the course. The reimbursement is determined by the Erasmus+-guide. That means that the participants will be maximum reimbursed for the following amounts.
Maximum budget for reimbursement per person (excluded the participation fee of 50,00):
• Bulgaria 275 - 50 = 225 euro;
• Croatia 275 - 50 = 225 euro;
• Cyprus 360 - 50 = 310 euro;
• Czech Republic 275 - 50 = 225 euro;
• Greece 275 - 50 = 225 euro;
• Iceland 360 - 50 = 310 euro;
• Italy 275 - 50 = 225 euro;
• Latvia 275 - 50 = 225 euro;
• Poland 275 - 50 = 225 euro;
• Romania 275 - 50 = 225 euro;
• Slovakia 275 - 50 = 225 euro;
• Turkey 360 - 50 = 310 euro.
The participants have to show the receipts for the travel costs to the organizers. The maximum amount of reimbursement they can get is 100% from the accepted travel costs according to the sums written above. For example: for the Italian organization the sum for travel costs per person is 225 Euro. If the participants have a total travel cost of 300 Euro per person, the participants will be reimbursed with only 225 Euro. If the participants have travel cost of 200 Euro, the participants will be reimbursed 200 Euro. The reimbursed will be made through bank transfer after the training course when Connected Elephant have received all the travel tickets.
