Outputs and Deliverables
• Assess the capacity development needs of the two PON in order to develop individual capacity building plans for each.
• Develop training tools on case management supervision and protection standards/procedures (CP, SGBV PwSN) in line with UNHCR and INTERSOS guidelines, and conduct focused training to the PON on these topics.
• Provide on-the-job coaching to the PON in all aspects of holistic and integrated case management.
• The PONs increase their capacity and knowledge of their role in order to assume all tasks and responsibility of the Protection Officer role from the POI.
A consultancy report that includes
• Training module and tools that take into consideration the lessons learnt from this training and that will enable INTERSOS to carry out this training independently in the future.
• Capacity building report including original capacity building needs assessments, capacity building plans and feedback from the PONs.
• An evaluative lessons learnt report on the capacity building process which contains recommendations on the PON capacity building process for future INTERSOS projects.

Required profile/experience
• A Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences, social work, international development, humanitarian affairs or other relevant fields.
• 3+ years’ experience implementing CP, SGBV and PwSN case management activities.
• 2+ years’ experience in capacity building in protection activities for national staff or local organizations/actors.
• Demonstrated experience in humanitarian settings.
• Strong knowledge of protection issues (SGBV, CP and PwSN).
• Demonstrated training/coaching skills as well as knowledge of planning, monitoring and measuring the impact of capacity building.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with culturally sensitive issues as part of a dynamic and diverse team.
• Working knowledge of the Arabic language is preferred.
