Summary: The training is part of a chain of events under the umbrella of the “Creative Learning Cookbook” project, which aims to enhance creativity in learning process and youth work mainly by means of storytelling, creative writing and visual facilitation.

Details:
The main part of the course will be delivered in the form of practical sessions implemented in a learning-by-doing fashion, using non-formal education and experiential learning. Participants will learn the basics of drawing and sketching, shapes and colour, creating metaphors and trying to visualise every single idea or subject and many other things. The team will take care of creating a supportive and safe learning environment, where participants are encouraged and coached while mastering challenges that contribute to their personal, professional and organisational development. The learning takes place both on individual level as well as in synergetic group processes. Special attention is paid to making the learning points of the training course relevant, sustainable and transferable, eg by producing detailed documentation and by providing templates for tailor-made development and action plans. This training course will be helpful for those who want to learn new learning methods and gain ideas that would help them to develop their unique learning and teaching style and approach. Activities will contribute to the development of participants' creative skills, imagination, communication and persentation skills, intercultural learning, professional and personal development. Course is targeted at youth workers, leaders, trainers, teachers, and educators. Participants must be aged 18+ and be residents of the country of the nominating partner organisation. Participants should be fluent in English, and be willing and committed to work hard – at least eight hours per day. Participation from beginning till the end is mandatory. Participants should furthermore commit to carry out any preparatory task asked for by the organisers, and be willing to follow-up on the training course via active youth work, teaching or another education activity, ideally in cooperation with their sending organisation. No, you don’t need to be a graphic artist to join the course or feel comfortable during the sessions. This course is for beginners with little or no experience in topic, but strong will in developing themselves in the field of visual facilitation.
Costs:
The travel costs are covered up to the following maximum amounts per participant: Austria: 275 Euro; Latvia: 100Euro; Estonia: 60 Euro.
• Participant have to submit all ORIGINAL!INVOICES and tickets for their trip to the hosts to be reimbursed. Reimbursement will be done by bank transfer to the participant account.
• Board, lodging, local transports, all materials and the content of the training course are covered for a symbolic participant fee of Euro 25.
