Target group: Youth in Action Programme countries.
For participants from: Youth workers, Youth leaders, Project managers, EVS coordinators.
Group size: 30 participants
Details:
Training course focusing on EVS (European Voluntary Service) coordinator’s potential and competencies to successfully manage their projects and to guide volunteers in their learning process. We believe that the role and personality of EVS coordinator is crucial for proper development of their EVS organizations and for personal development of hosted EVS volunteers. But how to create an environment of trusting and beneficial relationship between coordinators and EVS volunteers? And at the same time how to follow all the claims which the EVS philosophy brings?
In this context, we offer a training course focusing on following topics:
• Using full potential of EVS projects in the organisations.
• Effective communication and feedback.
• Balanced learning process in EVS project.
• Motivation for the work with EVS volunteers.
• Managing stress and emotional reactions.
• Conflict management.
Are you an EVS coordinator who:
• would like to develop or improve some aspects of your EVS projects?
• is motivated for personal development in topic related to EVS?
• would like to bring new dimension and inspiration to your EVS projects?
• wants to develop competencies in giving feedback and solving possible conflicts?
• wants to set up a long-term perspective with special attention to the learning process?
• would like to simply gain more experience and inspiration?
If at least one of your answers is “yes”, we invite you to participate in the course.
Participants are expected:
• to be able to communicate in English;
• to be interested in the topic and have direct experience with EVS (hosting, coordinating EVS), at least one EVS volunteer hosted;
• to be open to changes and motivated to implement gained outcomes to future EVS projects.
Costs:
Accommodation and food is provided for free. Travel cost will be reimbursed according to the rules of Erasmus+ programme. Max. amount per participant for travel costs is: Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovak Republic - 180 Euro per pax and Italy, Poland 275 Euro per pax. We expect participants to pay 33 Euro participant fee.
Working language: English.
