Summary: 8 days of networking and peer-learning in a group of LGBTQ youth activists with as diverse profiles as possible held in late August (20.-27.) 2015 in the Slovak Republic. 3 people per organisation/country. Fun, learning and unicorns.

For participants from: Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, United Kingdom.

Our contact-making activity was designed to bring together LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) youth workers, youth organisations and initiatives from all over the Europe. For eight days, participants will learn about each other’s organisation, explore possibilities for cooperation and think about future projects. Because their home organisations vary greatly in size, age and scope, sharing of experience and best practice will be easy. Participants will be involved in presentations, discussions, ideas generating activities, all with the aim to create strong bonds for future projects. 30 participants from the Slovak Republic, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Germany and the United Kingdom will spend the week in the beautiful nature getting to know each other and planning a better future for their organisations and LGBTQ youth they serve and build foundations for better future of LGBTQ youth in Europe.
Costs:
Standard E+:YiA financing rules will apply, meaning that all activity-related costs will be covered by the hosting organisation and the travel costs will be covered up to certain amount. A participation fee of 20€ will be deducted from the travel costs reimbursement. Maximum travel grant amount for each country: Slovakia - 180€; Czech Republic - 180€; Croatia - 275€; Germany - 275€; Lithuania - 275€; Poland - 180€; United Kingdom - 275€; Slovenia - 180€.
