Details:
This nine-day-training is located in the Culture and Education Centre Raoul Wallenberg (KuBiZ) in Berlin and takes place from 23.11. to 3.12.2015. We expect trainees from Germany, Romania, Netherlands, Serbia and Italy, who have experiences in working with youth and young adults or want to get active. The participants will learn, try out, discuss and evaluate a large variety of pedagogical approaches to deal with the topics migration, anti-racist education, stereotypes, trans-cultural communication and conflict management. In order to deal with the wide range of pedagogical approaches the training involves activities such as doing excursions and guided tours, work with creative and artistic methods, try out methods of anti-racist education or trans-cultural education or watch films. All of the activities in the program have the common factor of applying the trainees actively within the context of trans-cultural learning. The training promotes pedagogical approaches in dealing with challenges and opportunities in trans-cultural and pluralistic societies. The language of communication during the training will be English.
Costs:
Travel costs will be reimbursed by Solar e.V.. The European Union as funder promised travel costs in the amount of: 275 € for each participant from Italy, Serbia, France, Romania, Netherlands & for two persons from Germany 180 € for 6 participants from Germany. Accommodation and food will be provided for free. The participation fee is 100€. Solar e.V. provides the opportunity for participants with special economic obstacles to cut the fee by half. Please contact us in advance.
