Details:
Foreign Students Association of Luxembourg and ArmActive –Youth Center, with the support of National Agency of Luxembourg, are happy to announce another great opportunity for youth workers, teachers, trainers and other visualization practitioners, which will take place on 18-25 February 2016 in Dilijan, Armenia. Participants from Armenia will be nomiated by the local organisation and not through this public call. The project "Open Space on Visual Thinking" is a 6 (+2 travel) days training course in the field of Visual Thinking and Open Space Technology (OST), aimed at creating new curriculum for using new and innovative tools in the non-formal education field and to spread the idea of OST. This TC will be specified on different visual tools such as graphic recording, info graphics, visual storytelling and etc. and how and where they could be used by youth workers, trainers, project managers to create a better quality in Formal and Non formal Education. The aim of OST is to give opportunity to participants to use this tool in their projects, to multiply Skills Knowledge and Attitude (SKA) gained during this training within their organizations, community, schools and daily life.
Objectives Of The Project
• To pass creative and innovative tool and methodology to youth workers;
• To pass the Open Space Technology as a method for working with youth groups;
• To raise awareness on importance of Creative and Innovative tools in Formal and Non Formal Education;
• To create platform for youth workers to share ideas about "how and where we can use visual innovative tools?";
• To develop participants’ skills in graphic recording and visual thinking and other creative techniques;
• To Support the active participation of young people with fewer opportunities within youth activities (visual support for deaf people etc.);
• To develop intercultural dialogue and networking between EU and Neighboring countries;
• Finding and using new and creative ways to make youth work more attractive for youngsters;
• To improve the quality of EU youth programs and projects.
Costs:
Accommodation and food will be provided by the organisers. Travel Budget, max. reimbursement: Georgia € 40,00; Italy € 360,00; Luxemburg € 530,00; Russia € 275,00; France € 530,00. Participation fee: 40 Euro.
