Summary: The aim this seminar is to provide more EVS opportunities and ensure quality standards within network of organizations for personal and professional orientation for young people through mobility. "Raising the Bar" is part of the long term project “VGE”.
Target group: Youth workers, Youth leaders, Project managers.
For participants from: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Macedonia, Former Yugoslav Republic of, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey.

The main aim for this project is to provide more EVS opportunities and ensure quality standards within network of organizations for personal and professional orientation for young people through mobility. Implementing four activities we are intending to reach the following objectives:
• To share good practices with the organizations we are cooperating with and we will cooperate in future, together revising the EVS charter and promoting the new EVS charter;
• To build capacity of the organizations for work with the EVS program, increasing organizational staff competences;
• To provide high quality EVS projects for young people with fewer opportunities within Erasmus+ program;
• Promote the Erasmus+ Programme and the European Voluntary Service on European level.
Reaching the objectives we want to improve the level of key competences and skills of the staff and young people involved in EVS and strengthen the links between the organizations in the youth field and improving the quality on European Level.
To reach the aims and objectives we designed three main activities:
Activty.1 – Seminar “Raising the Bar”.
Activity.2 – Training Course “EvsMOTIONS”.
Activity.3 – Long term European Voluntary Service “EVS in CGE”.
Activity.4 – Evaluation Meeting.
The aim of this seminar is to share good EVS practices with the organizations participating in the project, promoting the new EVS charter and build capacity of the organizations for work with the EVS program.
Objectives for this activity are:
• To recognize the benefits delivering quality EVS and find solutions for challenges the organizations are facing working with EVS;
• To recognize and be able to reach the young people with fewer opportunities;
• To recognize the needs of the organization, local community and the young people with fewer opportunities;
• To learn for Erasmus+ program and share experience with successful projects;
• Match organizational, local and young people needs.
Costs:
Costs for accommodation, food and programme activities are covered fully. According to the rules within the Programme “Erasmus+ Youth in Action” we will reimburse the travel costs on the basis of the cheapest possibilities, e.g. second class railway tickets, APEX-flights etc., accompanied by the receipt of complete and original tickets, invoices, bills, receipts, boarding cards etc. upon a certain “contribution to the travel costs of participants, from their place of origin to the venue of the activity and return”. This contribution is “based on the travel distance per participant. Travel distances must be calculated using the distance calculator supported by the European Commission”. Travel reimbursement will be done after the meeting by bank transfer. The contribution is as follows: Albania 275; BiH 275; Italy 275; Germany 0; Macedonia 275; Montenegro 275; Poland 275; Romania 275; Serbia 275; Spain 275; Sweden 275; Turkey 360; Iceland 360. Further a fee of EUR 45 is charged for participation in the seminar. The amount is paid in cash by the participant on the spot (arrival day, registration and check in).
