Call for Trainers NFL-BUSINESS: training course for youth workers - 16-20 May, Poland.

Polish National Agency of the Erasmus+ Programme is looking for 1 Trainers.

Application deadline: 16.03.2016

Description

NFL-BUSINESS is a training course addressed to youth workers and aimed at developing and professionalizing the youth work sector

The goal is to encourage participants to be ready and look for contact and cooperation with the business world. To achieve it we plan to train them - provide them with concrete and practical knowledge and skills necessary to start effective cooperation with business in their communities.

Furthermore, we believe that business know-how such as e.g.:
• Applying business models and strategies;
• Preparing business plans;
• Conducting talks/negotiations;
• Creating social enterprises & start-ups;
• Using benefit language to communicate the value of an organisation and of youth work
• Understanding CSR;
• Building the organisation’s brand.

Will be useful in youth organisations’ management and we would like participants to apply it in their everyday work after the training.

The training is addressed to experienced youth workers who are able to apply the knowledge and skills gained at the training in their organisations' everyday work and who are ready to enter into cooperation with the business sector. Participants must be of age, able to communicate and work in English, and resident of one of Erasmus+ Programme Countries. Any extra plans of ngo-business cooperation described in the application form will be to their advantage during the selection process but it is not a must.

We would like to stress out that this is a thematic training and it is not dedicated to Erasmus+ programme and its actions. During the training, with so tight a programme, we do not intend to devote knowledge of e.g. particular actions, rules of applying for funds, special block of info on Youthpass, etc. but focus very strictly on delivering and praticising concrete knowledge and skills. Participants may have some questions (in their free time/during breaks) about Erasmus+ so the knowledge of the programme is desired to eventually answer it, however the purpose of the training is to deliver to participants the knowledge and skills necessary to establish effective cooperation with the business sector.

The information about the training and the call for partipants has already been put on the SALTO website.
