Summary: This training will enable you to successfully communicate with people coming from different cultures and improve your team management skills in intercultural environment. NOTE: the training is not funded by Erasmus+ programme, and is fee based.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Project managers, Youth Policy Makers, EVS mentors/tutors, University Tutors.
For participants from: Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme countries, Other countries in the world, Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU.
Group size: 30 participants

What is the training about?

‘Does Culture Matter’ is an international training programme that has been piloted with excellent results in Europe and Asia in various sectors, in multinational work environments: for profit companies, universities, NGOs and public bodies.
By participating in this training you will:
• Become more aware about cultural issues;
• Be able to communicate effectively in different intercultural settings;
• Better understand your own values and how they might cause cultural clashes;
• Be able to apply intercultural conflict resolutions techniques;
• Learn what culture shock is and how it can be overcome;
• Better understand the stages of cultural integration;
• Improve your facilitation and decision making skills when working with culturally diverse groups.
The training is based on four modules: Values & Ethics; Intercultural Communication; Conflict Resolution; Management & Facilitation.

22-28 July, 2016. South Kuta, Bali, Indonesia. Bali, probably the most famous island in Indonesia, is a subtle blend between serene nature and traditional cultural practices making it the perfect place to start your intercultural journey and develop practical skills in intercultural management.
Costs:
Get your ticket (number of places for the training is limited)

• 1490 EUR - Early bird price is valid for registrations and payments done before May 20th, 2016.
• 1890 EUR - Full training package fee for a one-week training (7 days) in Bali is valid for registrations and payments done after June 25th 2016.
What is included into the training fee?
The training package fee includes:
• Training materials and activities;
• Accommodation in a twin room (3 or 4 stars hotel) for the period of the training;
• Breakfast during the training course (all days, excluding arrival day);
• Lunch during the training course (all days excluding arrival and departure days);
• Coffee breaks (two per day, excluding arrival and departure day);
• Cultural immersion activities;
• A gala dinner.
Please NOTE that the training package fee doesn’t include your travel cost or any other personal expenses.
