Summary: The Norwegian National Agency of Erasmus+: Youth in Action is organising an event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of EVS. Ex-volunteers who understand Norwegian are hereby invited!
Target group: EVS mentors/tutors, Former EVS volunteers in Norway.
For participants from: Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme countries; Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU.
Group size: 160 participants
Details:
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of EVS, we will host a conference to celebrate the achievements of the EVS programme so far, and also look at how mobility and international voluntary service amongst young Europeans can contribute to integration and inclusion. We would like former EVS volunteers who lived in Norway between 1996 and 2016 to join this event! The event will take place in Oslo on Friday the 17th of June from 11.00 to 22.00. Participants should arrive on Thursday evening and depart on Saturday morning.
Tentative program:
11.00 - 15.30 Seminar on EVS and voluntary service;
16.00 – 18.00 Visit to 22 July Centre or Nobel Peace Centre;
19.00 – 22.00 Banquet & celebration.
The language of the event will be Norwegian, so you will need to understand Norwegian to be selected.
Costs:
This project is financed by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this seminar, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the seminar will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your Erasmus+: Youth in Action NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses. If you come from a country other than Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme Countries or if your NA is not in a position to cover your travel cost, please contact the host Erasmus+: Aktiv Ungdom for further information about the financial details.
