• The Project Manager has responsibility for daily and weekly oversight of staff performance and to ensure effective implementation of the project according to the project timetable and quality management of logistics and event preparation. The Programme Manager will also work to ensure good visibility of the project and be part of the team to represent the project in major meetings with partners and donors.

Roles & responsibilities
• Provide guidance and direction of implementation of the project in accordance with the Project Strategy and key project documents agreed by PCSC in close collaboration with the Peacebuilding Director.
• Discuss strategies and needed actions with the Peacebuilding Director regarding the peacebuilding component (trainings and other events, monitoring and evaluation, publication, indicators…).
• Coordinate with Desk Officer regarding all the administrative issues (ordinary expenses, management of micro grants, financial reporting, allocation of expenses, budget revision).
• Implement the action plan and strategy approved by PCSC concerning relations with donor and other stakeholders.
• Select and hire all the local project staff under the supervision of Desk Officer.
• Be responsible for the proper, transparent and correct management of project resources (financial, human and material) as per the project document.
• Plan, organize and implement all the operational activities related to different outputs as described in project proposal.
• Provide analytical ad hoc and monthly reports on progress (including indications of planned actions and indicators) on the basis of the monitoring tools shared by UPP, PATRIR and UNDP.
• Focus on qualitative and quantitative aspects of and/or in the reporting and monitoring for programme.
• Supervise the project’s staff and make sure that they follow the requested procedures, reporting correctly on daily basis.
• Supervise and coordinate logistics and financial resources.
• Facilitate and arrange logistical support for the Multi-Stakeholder Process (or similar networking process) in close coordination with Peacebuilding Director.
• Submit any request for changes agreed upon by UPP and PATRIR to UNDP.
• Provide UNDP with all required information on the implementation of the Action.
• Monitoring monthly reporting for UNDP, UPP and Patrir.
• Support Desk Officer/UPP Admin in the preparation of financial reports for UNDP
• Inform the UNDP without delay of any circumstances likely to hamper or delay the implementation of the Action.

Lines of communication & reporting
Reports to:

• The Peacebuilding Director on weekly basis to coordinate project implementation
Project Consortium Steering Committee (PCSC).
• The donor in coordination with Peacebuilding Director and the Desk Officers.
• UPP Head of Mission concerning UPP logistics, regulations and security procedures.
• Project partner organisations and authorities in Nineveh as relevant according to the Project’s Framework document and code of conduct.
• Is reported to by: The Project Team , including the Peacebuilding Director on implementation of their tasks and responsibilities.
