Summary: “Need education to work (netWORK)” is a 7-day Partnership Building Activity(PBA) that involves partners from EU, SEE and EECA countries aiming to empowering youth workers overcoming youth employment issues in their own countries.
Target group: Youth workers.
For participants from: Armenia, Austria, Belarus, Croatia, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Moldova, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine.
Group size: 30 participants.
Details:
Young people in Europe are still facing unprecedented difficulties in finding job. This is still the impact of The economic crisis in the European Union that has dramatically changed the youth labour market in almost all European countries. It is our belief that youth workers from different EU and neighbouring countries can change the situation locally and internationally. Thanks to mobility projects, youngsters can meet, discuss the problems of youth unemployment, share the best practices, raise the issues of unemployment, create networks and prepare/implement projects tackling the issue in their local communities and internationally. “Need education to work (netWORK)” is a 7-day Partnership Building Activity(PBA) that involves partners from EU, SEE and EECA countries aiming to empowering youth workers overcoming youth employment issues in their own countries. During the project sharing of the best practices of successful countries on youth employment, discovering job opportunities accessible for all participant countries, receiving input from trainers and experts, field visits and group discussions will lead to a creation of a contemporary method that will be used by participants to empower young job seekers to their local communities to find jobs.
The objectives of the PBA:
• To share the experience of youth (un)employability issues of the participating countries and exchange best practice about the topic;
• To get skills on how to write competitive CV and motivation/cover letter;
• To get informed about international job opportunities provided by various job finding organizations;
• To promote volunteering as a connecting bridge for students to become employees;
• To design and implement workshops tackling unemployment issues;
• To inform about the opportunities Erasmus+ gives to youth as a positive input in finding jobs;
• To create network between youth workers involved in youth (un)employment issues.
Costs:
The project has been financed by the Erasmus+ programme. The costs related to accommodation and food will be completely covered by the hosting organisation. Travel tickets are refundable for the participants who attend the whole program and subject to giving the organiser all the return travel tickets and boarding passes. The participation fee is 25 Euro. Maximum travel reimbursement per participant from each country is up to as follows: Armenia 0 Euro; Austria 360 Euro; Belarus 275 Euro; Croatia 360 Euro; Cyprus 275 Euro; Georgia 180 Euro; Greece 275 Euro; Italy 360 Euro; Moldova 275 Euro; Netherlands 530 Euro; Portugal 820 Euro; Spain 820 Euro; Turkey 275 Euro; Ukraine 275 Euro.
