Summary: This 5 days Training Course will approach Entrepreneurship and Initiative from a very practical standpoint. There will be a strong focus on learning by doing, and the translation of ideas into actions.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Project managers, Youth Policy Makers, EVS mentors/tutors.
For participants from: Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain.
Group size: 28 participants.

"Sense of Initiative and Entrepreneurship" it's a training course in the framework of the project "Sustain your Life through Social Entrepreneurship", an Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership in Youth field involving organizations from Italy, Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, Romania, and Lithuania. This 5 days training course will approach Entrepreneurship and Initiative from a very practical standpoint. There will be a strong focus on learn by doing, especially since the actual topic is very linked with the actual doing, or the translation of ideas into actions.
With this training course participants will learn how:
• To develop interpersonal skills to interact with other people;
• How to detect (and bring out) their learners’ entrepreneurial skills;
• How to recognize and identify their entrepreneurial attitudes;
• How to turn ideas into action.
The project is designed in all its phases as an experience that can provide insights and learning opportunities to its participants. This project builds on both individual and group learning, always respecting participants needs. To achieve our learning goals, the learning process will be carefully planned and framed within the principles of Non Formal Education, Experiential and Self-directed learning. The Training Course will take place in Cascais | Estoril region. The venue will be at Hotel Estoril Eden. It's a 4* hotel in front of the sea, with all the facilities needed to implement our training activities.
Profile of participants
• Youth workers and Young people involved in social entrepreneurship initiatives or third sector organizations;
• Able to work and communicate in English;
• Able to use the acquired skills in future activities and willing to act as multiplier in their local communities upon their return home;
• More than 18 years old.
Costs:
Food and accommodation: will be fully covered by the project.
Travel costs: will be refunded after the end of the course, when all the original tickets and receipts are presented. Travel costs for each participant will be reimbursed according to travel distance band flat rate of Erasmus+ Programme, and until the limits established below. Possible extra costs should be covered by the participants themselves. Portugal: 0 €; Spain and Netherlands (100 - 1999Km): 275 €; Italy, Romania and Lithuania (>2000Km): 360 €.
