Project description:
The main aim of the project is to equipped youth workers with competences and methods which will help to promote intercultural dialogue and respect among young people. Using these competences youth workers can help to prevent the violent radicalization and xenophobia in European society. The empathic communication shows how to treat other people without prejudice and with respect for their individuality, needs and feelings.
The participants will:
• Learn how to communicate with youths in empathic way (Nonviolent communication);
• Work with Action Learning method to find creative solutions for problems which you face, while working with youths;
• Exchange knowledge and good practices in an international group of youth workers;
• Develop your knowledge about other cultures and religions;
• Prepare and run (in international groups) short workshops about intercultural dialogue for the local youths;
• Get to know Polish local culture, nature and touristic attractions;
• Develop his/her communication skills in English;
• Build the international network of youth workers (FB group for participants).
Who can participate:
Youth workers over 18 who are interested in professional development and speaking communicative English from the following countries: Romania, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania and Poland. 4 participants form each
country. Training is funded by European Union as a part of Erasmus + Program.
Costs:
Travel costs will be reimbursed (275 Euro per participant from Lithuania). Accommodation in 2, 3 and 4 persons comfortable rooms. Rooms equipped with bedclothes and towels Wi-Fi available.
Working language: English.
