• Conduct ongoing reviews of the effectiveness and efficiency of development area related policies, procedures, and systems and make recommendations for revision or improvement including the creation of synergies between processes and with other HR related activities in the administration area.
• Provide advisory services across the full spectrum of HR development processes to staff, managers across Bioversity office locations.
• Performs other duties as requested.
• Minimum Qualification & Experience

• University degree in Human Resources, business administration or a related field, or equivalent qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in an international/multinational working environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software packages (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of and experience in the use HR information management systems.
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Desirable qualifications and experience: Certification in mediation / facilitation / coaching.
• Knowledge of other major international languages. Experience with the implementation of human resources information management systems.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, persuasion skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative working relationships with people of diverse cultural and national backgrounds.
• Excellent project management skills including the ability to work on a range of deliverables simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills, including priority setting, maintaining high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to combine analytical and creative skills to find effective solutions to problems. High degree of judgment, initiative, and the ability to work with a high degree of independence within assigned areas. Strong client orientation and service approach.

Terms & Conditions
This is a locally recruited professional position, based in Maccarese near Rome, Italy, at Bioversity International’s Headquarters. All benefits are denominated and paid in EURO. The position is level 6, in a scale of eight levels, with level 8 being the highest. The salary range starts from Euro 44,011 per annum. Bioversity’s remuneration package includes a competitive salary, leave provisions, medical and life insurance, and non-contributory retirement plan. The contract will be for a period of 3 years subject to a probationary period of twelve months. Please note this position is only open to citizens and residents of the European Union.
