It is now possible to enrol in the 2012 editions of the European Project Planning and Management training courses addressed to individuals who wish to successfully access and manage European funds in the field of education, training and culture.
Target group:
Project managers, Youth workers, Youth Policy Makers.

Youth in Action Programme Countries.
Group size: 25 participants.
Details:
It is now possible to enrol in the 2012 editions of the European Project Planning and European Project Management in-service training courses addressed to individuals who wish to acquire the skills for successfully accessing and managing European funds in the field of education, training and culture. More than 30 editions of the courses were already successfully carried out since 2005. European Project Planning
The target groups of the In-Service Training course on European Project Planning are: School teachers and directors; university professors; managers of training organizations; managers of adult education institutions; managers of public bodies. Information about the institutions participating in the previous European Project Planning course’s editions is available. The European Project Planning in-service training course aims to provide participants with the skills to enable them to:
• Understand the funding opportunities managed by the European Commission;
• Interpret correctly a call for proposal for funding;
• Develop effective project ideas;
• Collect all necessary documents for the application’s submission;
• Create an appropriate transnational partnership;
• Fill in the Application Form for submitting a Project;
• Planning of Financial Aspects of the application;
• Carry out the procedures necessary for the presentation of the application.
The course’s programme is organized in 6 main modules.The approach used in the European Project Planning in-service training course is highly practical, based on the expertise of the course trainers who have around 20 years experience in European project planning and management. During the European Project Planning course, a practical simulation is carried out for each topic in focus. The practical simulation is based on the use of the services, databases and documentation made available, on-line, by the European Union. The objective of the practical activities carried out during the European Project Planning in-service training course is the simulation of the development and presentation of a project.
At the end of the European Project Planning in-service training course, every work group have produced a first draft of a European project including the application form, budget, transnational partnership, administrative requirements, supporting documents etc.
The European Project Planning course will be held at Pixel site, in Florence (Italy). The dates of the next editions of the European Project Planning course are:
• Edition 28: 11-15 October 2011.
• Edition 29: 6-11 February 2012.
• Edition 30: 11–16 June 2012.
• Edition 31: 8–13 October 2012.
European Project Management
The target groups of the In-Service Training course on European Project Management are: School teachers and directors; university professors; managers of training organizations; managers of adult education institutions; managers of public bodies. Information about the institutions participating in the previous European Project Management course edition is available. Testimonials of previous participants in the course are also available. The European Project Management course aims to provide participants with the skills to enable them to effectively manage a European project. This includes:
• manage contractual procedures with the European Commission;
• organize and plan the project work;
• manage the project partnership;
• monitor the project development and evaluate its outcomes;
• create and deliver project reports;
• manage the financial and administrative issues of the project.
The European Project management course’s programme is organized in 6 main modules.
