Group size: 30 participants.
Details:
It is no secret- Europe is changing now! Economic crisis, political challenges, migration… But where is this leading to? Could changes be for the better? How to talk to young people about changes? What's going on in Europe? Apply now and find out!
If you are a
• youth worker;
• youth leader and you are interested in discovering the changes that are happening in Europe;
• identifying ways in which change can influence young people;
• learning about possible answers to change ;
• observing and participating in diversity in action;
• practicing strategies for dealing with change and making it work for the better goal;
• taking time to critically analyze change, diversity and other important concepts;
• learning how you can talk to young people about interculturality, change, etc. and why you really should do it.
No matter whether you
• experience change and know that it is important to young people you work with or lead;
• do not believe changes in Europe have anything to do with you or the people you meet.
This is an opportunity to get together with people from all over Europe to discuss what is happening, how you feel about it and what could be done to improve the current situation.
Program elements:
• non-formal learning approach;
• lots of group work and talking about the perceived;
• field visits and participant observation;
• inputs on change – identity – radicalism – diversity – strategies for the better;
• practical workshops ;
• networking.
Costs:
This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses. Travel costs for participants from South- East Europe will be covered by Latvian National Agency.
