Aim of the Exchange:
Our aims are to support the active involvement of unemployed young people in society and to develop alternative solutions for unemployment in the light of the common problems with participants from different countries and different perspectives. In this project young people and youth workers who are interested in the topic will come together, exchange ideas and express themselves clearly. Their awareness towards enterpreneurship and creativity will be increased.
Objectives:
Unemployment is one of the most important problems of youth that are expected to be the motor development of our country and other countries. Socialization of youth is disrupted depending on the process of unemployment. This process not only affects their socio-cultural life but also prevents to obtain financial conditions required only for their lives. So ,they are forced to depend on their families financially.This situation drags young people into uncertainty about the future plans and takes them away from the community.
1. Sharing the reasons of unemployment in different countries;
2. Identifying the mutual and different problems of unemployed youths;
3. Providing the free-thought rendering among the participants by sharing different intercultural opinions;
4. Planning activities to incorporate the unemployed youths into socialization period;
5. Indicating the efficiency of cooperative working;
6. Raising awareness about the problems of youths related to unemployment;
7. Providing different viewpoints to unemployment;
8. Sharing the solution proposals to decrease the nuumber of unemployed youths;
9. Encouraging the mobility and active participation to society of youths;
10. Enhancing the awareness and dependence of youths about poverty and marginalization subjects;
11. Contributing to discover and improve the creativity and entrepreneurship of youths
Methodology
The main theme of our project is to reach constructive results by taking up thhee reasons of social isolation feeling and the problems of unemployed youths in a mutual portal and provide to discover and improve the creativity and entrepreneurship abilities of youths. The subject of project, unemployment of youths will be identified with its reasons and solution methods by the participants of all countries and will be agreed on the mutual decision. All the participants will present their informative presentation related to subject in their cultures. Seminars and panels will be organized to enhance the knowledge of the participants about the subject. The participants will be given chance to discuss and try to find solutions in a detailed way during the activities. Workshops, active moving games, simulations, activities, outdoor activities, group works, empathy, creative drama and communication tree are the other methods of the project. Also all the participants will be applied questionnaires. All the participants, youths will research about the unemployment and by this way they will participate in all the activities In the group works the participants will work with youths from other countries and will be able to learn the problems of the youths in other countries.
Who can participate on the training course:
• Over 18 years old;
• Actively involved in youth work;
• Be highly motivated to actively participate in the whole training course and to contribute to the development of future projects;
• Youth workers from EU member countries, EFTA and program countries, directly working with young people;
• Be able to share their experience with the other participants;
• Be able to share information about their organization or institution;
• Be able to communicate on English.
Costs:
Education and Culture DG will provide board, lodging and programme costs during the entire Youth Exchange travel costs will be covered by the organizers during the seminar. We pay % 70 of your traveling expenses and % 100 of you accommodation and food expenses.
