Summary:
Small steps on stage - big attitudes changed! Workshop is a beginners’ level for those who would like to start applying Forum Theatre in their activities.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers.
For participants from: Youth in Action Programme Countries.
Group size: 12 participants.
Details:
This workshop will offer the opportunity social workers and community leaders to explore social problems at deeper levels as well as to bring this important dimension into their work. They will be able to use an innovative method as Forum Theatre through which they will create a context for dialogue and learning between people from different social categories or from the same category that are facing the similar problems. They can be facilitators, community leaders, people who would like to get more involved in the community problems, project coordinators.
Participants to this workshop will:
• get a set of skills and knowledge about hot topics in Europe, seen as social issues;
• have the chance to get in contact with different tools and methods in order to make their work more inclusive and to take action;
• experiment an innovative and very interactive method such as Forum Theatre;
• develop proactive attitudes towards diversity, culture and their own communities;
• have a deeper understanding of intercultural learning as a powerful tool to use for promoting string values, including European values.
We are looking for participants from all Program Countries!!!
Costs:
Travel as well and accommodation and food are covered 100% through Life Long Learning Program - Grundtvig.
Working language: English.
