Details: Youth in Action Training Course "Better Employability for Minority Youth" is a training organized by the Belgrade Open School and it is open for youth workers and career counsellors motivated to participate. International team of trainers and experts will aim to increase the capacities of participating organizations and their youth workers to prevent youth unemployment through career information and guidance services, with special attention on working with minority groups of youth. If you join the training you will learn a lot about skills for:
- better youth employability,
- gathering and spreading of labour market information,
- advocacy and lobbying for youth rights in labour market,
- minority groups of youth in labour markets (migrants, IDP’s, refugees, ethnical or national minorities),
- inclusion of minority youth,
- intercultural learning, etc.
Since you will be surrounded by peers from all over Europe you will learn about other countries labour markets and employment opportunities. The project gathers 28 participants and 5 experts and support staff from EU and SEE countries: Macedonia, Turkey, Latvia, Finland, Italy, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Working language is English.
Costs: This project is funded by the Youth in Action Programme. According to its rules, all costs of board and logging will be covered by the organisers. In addition, Belgrade Open School will reimburse 70% of the participants’ travel costs.
