Summary:
Partners from Italy, Germany, Spain & Romania are needed!
This seminar will take place in a Rural area and in a training center where young people are studying and leaving. We will exchange ideas and practices directly with this group of young people.
Target group:
Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Project managers, Youth Policy Makers, social workers.
For participants from:
Spain, Germany, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, Bulagria, Turkey, Italy and France.
Group size: 24 participants.
Details:
The aims of this seminar are to:
• To be involved in Active Participation and be active Yourself!;
• Develop approach to appetite young people in Mobility experiences;
• Experience non formal education;
• Discover together Youth in Action Program and Program Education Training;
• Meet new partners and build future projects together.
We understand by MOBILITY :
International activities in which young people can take place as : a voluntary participation abroad, some exchanges with different young people from different countries in non formal education or formal education, trainings abroad, any personal projects as “youth initiative projects”… The Team will use a lot of methods and tools which you can transfer in your own projects. This in different fields (Group dynamic, Getting to know each other, Evaluation, Building partnerships)
To prepare yourself and the training, we suggest different things :
• Think about your own position as a participant in an international, intercultural training - You are now as a young people who will be involved in a youth exchange;
• All the things you will live is a part of a youth exchange (preparation, travels, sessions, evaluations, language, cultural differences.....).
In Youth in Action programme, local impact of projects is so important, then...when you speak about your training participation you speak about your futures projects
What to bring ?
There are a number of things we would like you to bring along for the seminar as well as the informal moments of our week. They are all equally important and we would like to ask you to not only read through the list but to also bring the stuff along:
a) some examples of your youth work and materials (posters, leaflets, photos, magazines, podcasts, videos, CDs...) for a small and humble “presentation” on Wednesday.
b) a typical taste of your region or country for a common Intercultural Evening on “Our Intercultural Evening”. Please don’t bring too much. Note that it is possible to cook or heat food at the training centre ! We also have a fridge.
c) your artistic skills! Can you play the guitar, sing, dance, play any sports ? Have you got any hidden talents? Impress us!
d) some cool pieces of music and games from your country or region or anywhere else. Imagine 24 people from all over Europe, a stereo, a room, the need to dance, and a long night ahead... You see?
e) endless amounts of good mood and motivation for work and leisure!
f) any dictionaries you might require;
g) an alarm clock and the loading cable of your mobile;
h) any insurance you might consider good to have (health insurance for a foreign country for instance or a luggage loss insurance or third liability or). Unfortunately we cannot provide any of these.
i) December in Normandy is COLD and DAMP so bring WARM CLOTHES;
j) Think to bring TOVELS.
Costs:
30% travel costs. Food and accommodation are provided by budget from Monday 3rd of December (Dinner) to 9th of December (breakfast). Please let us know if you have special needs according to your usual food/feeding practices (examples : vegan diet, allergy..other according to philosophical, religious beliefs/practices..)
Working language: English and French.
