Who we are
In this study session activists from several European SCI branches are cooperating with the NMW Team to offer this study session. The No-More-War Team is a group supported by SCI Austria, Germany and Italy and works since SCIs 90 year’s anniversary in 2010 on promoting core values like non-violence and anti-militarism. We strive to bring partners and branches together to strengthen the non-violent aspects of workcamps by offering special camp coordinator trainings, publishing a toolkit and writing on our blog spreading information about projects, methods and arguments concerning non-violent action.
Financial and practical information:
Travel expenses:
The travel and visa expenses of the participants will be reimbursed 100% according to the rules of the Council of Europe and only on presentation of the original receipts. We urge participants to choose the most economic while sustainable itinerary and tickets of traveling, since there is a limited total amount for every study session. Only participants who stay for the complete duration of the Study Session will be reimbursed. The reimbursement is done by bank transfer after the meeting or at the end of the meeting in cash.
Accommodation:
Accommodation and meals will be provided by the Council of Europe at the European Youth Center in Strasbourg.
Participation Fee:
There is only a participation fee of 50 euros. This will be deducted from the reimbursement of the travel expenses.
