Summary:
SALTO EuroMed, Turkish National Agency, EuroMed Youth Centre and Akdeniz University, are organising an International Meeting for all the active trainers in EuroMed with a specific focus for whom took part in TOTEM I and II and TATEM.
Target group: Trainers.
For participants from: Mediterranean Partner Countries, Youth in Action Programme Countries.
Group size: 100 participants
Details:
The meeting will aim to gather together former participants of TOTEM and TATEM, their trainers and all the actors involved in training trainers within EuroMed area (also the relevant institutions as COE, Commission and University). During the meeting, the trainers will have the opportunity to feedback on the 2012 Totem report about and contribute to the overall research about “Skills and competencies of a trainer active within EuroMed”. National Agencies and SALTO Network will be invited to contribute too in the overall reflection about the achivements of their national and international strategy in the EuroMed. The meeting will be an unique opportunity to discuss the last 10 years and more experiece of trainers active in EuroMed, to confront challenges and success, but also to reinforce the trainers’ network for better prepare in the new programme after 2013.
The main objectives are:
• To gather together all TOTEM and TATEM former participants;
• To gather all the other trainers active within EuroMed;
• To reflect on participants' learning experience in the area after some years of experience and sharing those learning points;
• To upgrade knowledge and skills as a trainer in this area;
• To identify the critical issues of the participants' common learning process;
• To reflect on the influence of the geopolitical situation in the projects/program;
• To raise awareness on the geopolitical situation within the programmes frameworks;
• To reflect about participants' future contribution as trainer in that framework.
Costs:
Board and Lodging will be covered by Turkish National Agency
Travel cost: for Programme countries will be covered by the relevant National Agency; For Meda: will be covered by organisers.
Working language: English.
