Summary:
Space/ID Madrid is a 6-days art laboratory that will take place in Madrid (Spain), July 8-14, 2013 and will engage a group of artists, activists, educators and youth leaders from Italy, Spain, Croatia, Greece and Cyprus.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Artists, LGBTIQ activists and allies.
For participants from: Youth in Action Programme Countries.

Space/ID Madrid is a 6-days art laboratory that will take place in Madrid (Spain), July 8-14, 2013 and will engage a group of artists, activists, educators and youth leaders. Participants will be involved in study, discussion, and art practices as we work about art, community, and self-expression for an exploration of the aesthetics of sexuality and gender via art in public space, while also participating to local public art events and forums organized by local organizations. As artists, activists and/or experts, you will be asked to engage during Space/ID activities in a relevant and structured way: sharing a best practice, elaborating an individual or collective art project, or facilitating a workshop on art, gender, LGBTIQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, intersex, queer) issues or sexuality. Preparation activities will focus on participative art practices and potential creative contamination among projects.
Costs:
Selected participants resident in Italy, Spain, Croatia, Greece and Cyprus will be granted within the framework of Youth in Action Programme full coverage of board and lodging in a central youth hostel (rooms for 6/8 people) for the whole duration of the activities and 70% of travel reimbursement upon presentation of requested receipts.
