Summary:
Boosting youth's employability and social inclusion aims to promote the European Voluntary Service and its long-term social impact as a tool to fight the youth's unemployability throgouth new competences in a non formal context.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Project managers, EVS mentors/tutors.
For participants from: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Poland, Portugal, Romania, United Kingdom.
Group size: 26 participants
Details:
In organizing this training, Work in Progress wish to give opportunities to organizations from Europe to share their experiences and to gain knowledge and new skills in the fields of youth work, as well as establishing new contacts and developing common project ideas. This project will bring together a maximum of 26 youth work professionals to work together to explore the theme of volunteering at a local and European level, for young people from all types of backgrounds. The training will take 5 days from 11 to 15 of March 2013 and will be based on experiential learning methods. The programme will include introduction activities, plenary sessions leading to working groups, closing plenary sessions, some field exercise and a case study
Costs:
30% of travel costs in charge of participants; Fee: no additional fee; Visa costs reimbursed.
