Summary:
Border meeting between Spain and France to enhance the Youth in Action Programme, European Programmes and Active Participation.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Project managers, Youth Policy Makers, EVS mentors/tutors, People with experience in any action under the "Youth in Action" programme and / or other European Youth programs.
For participants from: France, Spain.
Group size: 24 participants

Have you ever participated in any of the activities of the Youth in Action Programme? Do you want to share your experience and to know more about the impact that these activities have had on other young people? What future opportunities can they offer you? Do you want to learn about ideas that maybe you can implement or apply to your association or entity? And all of this in your own native language, but with people from another country??? Then you are interested in this seminar!!! It is a 5-day border meeting between Spain and France to enhance the Youth in Action Programme 2007-2013, with the following objectives:
• To visualize the success of the Youth in Action program;
• To analyze the positive impact of the European Youth Programs:
- In a level of personal development;
- In a level of improvement of the employability;
- In a level or more active participation in society;
- In a level of development of European consciousness;
• To explore the concept of European citizenship;
• To get to know and promote the different ways of participating in the EU (European Parliament elections of 2014);
• To reflect on the influence of the EU in our local environment.
The methodology used is the characteristic of non-formal education, providing a structured but flexible framework for the development of the learning process of the participants. Emphasis will be given to practical activities and visibility of the Youth in Action Programme in general and this encounter in particular.
Costs:
This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project . Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
Working language: Mix Spanish and French.
