Summary:
TC about youth initiative spirit, youth entrepreneurship spirit, youth employability through Non-Formal activities learning.
Target group: Youth workers.
For participants from: Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Romania, Slovak Republic, Spain.
Group size: 35 participants
Details:
The Objectives: will follow 4 educational directions
1. The potential of the youngster:
• Provide tools on how to develop youth inner potential: self esteem, problem solving, self development;
• Develop the creativity of young people;
2. Group potential / group dynamic:
• Show the power of group synergies;
3. Mentoring / Monitoring young people: Motivate, Support:
• Give youth workers methods on how to empower young people to develop their own idea and implement it in reality;
4. Competences gained through experience (non-formal & informal activities) & Employability:
• Propose methods for the identification and valorization of competences gained in NFA;
• Create links between learning in NFA and the working world;
• Increase employability of Youth With Fewer Opportunities through gradual involvement in Non Formal Activities (ex.: youth exchange, then EVS or Youth Initiative, then a scheme to get back to employment).
Working methods:
• Experiential learning;
• Theoretical input;
• Creativity workshops;
• Good practices Europe and in the world;
• Visits;
• Knowledge sharing workshops (participants teach a method, tool, technique, game to the others).
Profile of partner organisations:
• involved in field work with young people or co-operating with such organisation locally;
• have experience in transnational youth work or the strong will to develop it;
• be ready to actively participate to the project and bring their own experience on the TC’s topics.
Profile of participants:
• youth worker, youth leader, youth advisor (including career adviser), administrator of youth organisation;
• able to attend the entire training period.
Number of participants / organisation: 1 till 3.
Costs:
30% of travel costs; 20 euros participation fee.
Working language: English.
