International volunteer projects — workcamps and youth exchanges, have central place in the activities of many youth and voluntary service organizations. Each project needs a campleader, or coordinator, or teamer, or groupleader. Names could be many, functions may vary — still, leader is one of the keys to success of the international volunteer project. With the proposed training we aim to prepare leaders in international atmosphere, discuss different aspects of international volunteer projects — on example of workcamp and youth exchange — and their preparation, international cooperation between partners, leadership, solving conflicts and other issues related to leading a project and international group. The special focus of the training will be intercultural learning in the group, how to organize it beyond traditional international evening.
