Summary:
Explore and identify opportunities and limitations of using online platforms and social networks to increase e-participation in YiA and future EU youth projects.
Target group:Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, EVS mentors/tutors, coaches and peer educators.
For participants from: Youth in Action Programme Countries.
Group size: 26 participants
Details:
Participants will be able to explore and identify opportunities and limitations of using online platforms and social networks to increase e-participation in their YiA and future EU youth projects. It will facilitate reflections on e-participation and its educational application in the youth field.
Aim:
To support youth workers/youth leaders to enable young people in developing skills and ethical attitudes while using online-media tools in their youth projects.
Objectives:
• Share good practices of e-participation in “Youth in Action” and other youth projects;
• Evaluate the opportunities and challenges of youth e-participation;
• Reflect on needed skills and attitudes to increase quality in youth e-participation;
• Explore online tools and resources to increase learning through e-participation;
• Support multiplying effects and networking amongst participants of the training.
Costs:
This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
