“Training trainers for Political youth work” is directly fostering the development of a sense of ownership of the European Union among the young people. The training directly raises European awareness.

For participants from: Albania, Belgium - DE, Belgium - FL, Belgium - FR, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Former Yugoslav Republic of, Montenegro, Serbia, Sweden, Turkey.

Details:
“Training trainers for Political youth work” is directly fostering the development of a sense of ownership of the European Union among the young people. By introducing a new generation of political youth work trainers on the topic of Europe the training directly raises European awareness. The theme of the training is to provide a space for sharing and developing new concepts of political youth work as the basic precondition for youth participation and European citizenship processes. It addresses youth workers and leaders working in a different cultural and social environment facing the same challenge. The political youth work aims at building capacity youth organizations and youth leaders to work on the dimension of Europe with young people, through which they can encourage debate and confrontation of young people on the topics of Europe, citizenship, mobility, participation and enlargement. It is opening doors to youth policy, by enabling young people to present their ideas and actively work on translating them into policies.
Costs:
Participation fee:
€50 for JEF-members and €70 for non-members (7 nights in hotel and 3 meals per day). Travel reimbursement: 70% of travel costs.
Working language: English.
